Mycheala is an established practitioner with over 20 years experience in child development. She started her career in early years, then, progressed through schools supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Her work has involved supporting pupils at risk of fixed term and permanent exclusion, with an inclusive approach consisting of positive behaviour management strategies. As well as delivering training courses, Mycheala spends a lot of time in schools providing suggestive strategies for individual children, classroom management, whole school de-escalation, policies and procedures.
Mycheala has been delivering Team-Teach training for over 20 years with her advanced status. The courses are tailored and designed to focus on risk reduction with an emphasis on de-escalation. Mycheala demonstrates creativity with manageable strategies which is evident within various settings.
Stephen
Stephen is an experienced Team-Teach instructor and has excellent skills within the practical elements of the courses, where he demonstrates a range of nurturing positive intervention techniques throughout.
Stephen is on hand all day to ensure that learners are supported as individuals, feel comfortable throughout the day and helps to build learners confidence when developing new skills. Following training courses, Stephen provides ongoing assistance in settings if needed with any of the practical elements learnt throughout the course to keep practitioners supported.
